Campervan Hire

Eternity Campers is a campervan company that sells, hires and converts vans to campervans.

Eternity Campers build their own rental campervans at their workshop in Nottinghamshire.

We change our vans periodically to make sure you are renting our latest campervans available.  We usually have two of our most popular types of campervans for you to rent. Our Volkswagen T6 is a campervan for campers who love the VWs and the Ford transit campervan. This is becoming more popular due to its extra space and great drive. Both great for your adventures and road trips.

An Eternity Campervans has 2 double beds, units for clothing, a fully equipped kitchen including gas bottle and an outdoor cooker, table and chairs for outdoor living. Insurance cover for 1 driver (an additional driver can be added) and campervan breakdown cover are also included. Our Campers always have a valid Gas safe and habitation check certificate to ensure your safety.

All Eternity Campers are fully equipped with the following: 

  • Fridge Freezer
  • hob and sink unit.
  • Outdoor cooking hob
  • LED electric lighting
  • Full gas bottle 
  • 12v and 240v Electrical Systems
  • 2 double beds (elevating roof and a rock and roll bed) 
  • Pop Top roof has Scenic Canvas (Star Gazer)
  • Kettle 
  • Crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and cooking equipment
  • Camping table and chairs
  • Power cable, fresh water hose and vehicle levelling blocks

Yes, we have additional equipment such as air awning, canopy Net, Sat Nav, & wind breaks, bedding and towels if you wish to hire our equipment. There is an additional charge for these items and can be booked at the time of booking.

No. All Eternity campers come with roof mounted solar panels. This enables you to stay on sites with no electric available giving you more freedom and choice where you want to stay.

No, due to the size of the campervan we are unable to install them with toilets and showers. It is a good idea to keep this in mind when planning your journeys.

Booking your campervan

Yes, if you are over 21 and under 79 years old. You have held a full UK manual driving license or an international equivalent and have a minimum of two years driving experience. There are addition requirements for driver under 25 and between 75-79 years old (please see campervan insurance section).

There is a maximum of 2 drivers and additional drivers need to be over 23 years of age. There is small charge for extra drivers. 

No. All Eternity campervans can be driven on a standard class B licence.

Yes, only if you have accrued a maximum of 6 penalty points over the past 3 years and no more than 1 insurance claim in the last 3 years, we can accept you for hire. 

If the driver has more than 6 penalty points, have been convicted of any major driving offence, has any prosecutions pending, or has been disqualified for a period 3 months or more in the past 5 years, unfortunately our insurance will not cover you.

You need to tell us about these when booking, so please contact us before booking a campervan hire to enable us to check with our insurance company as to whether we can cover you.

Yes. As part of your rental we include comprehensive insurance cover for 1 driver (an extra charge for additional drivers) for road traffic accidents or collisions.

If you are unfortunate enough to have an accident, loss or damage to the campervan, as with car insurance, you will need to pay the excess.  

If you have any driving convictions, accidents, insurance refusal, endorsements, disabilities or medical conditions please call us prior to booking to enable us to check with our insurance company as to whether we can cover you.

Unfortunately, at the moment our campervans cannot accommodate pets. However, we know your dog is important to you and that you like to take them on your travels. So, with this in mind we are currently building a Ford Transit campervan that will be able to accommodate your dog as this will have extra room. When this campervan comes available, we will let you know. 

Yes, Eternity Campers are family friendly campervans. If your child requires a safety seat, please ensure that you bring this with you and ensure it is fitted correctly in the campervan. 

All campervans are non-smoking vehicles. We ask that you don’t smoke in the Campervan including vaping. When smoking or vaping outside of the campervan please ensure that the exhaled smoke/steam does not enter the vehicle.

It’s easy! Check the booking calendar for your desired dates and fill in the booking form found on the rental page then follow the steps on the booking screen. Please call or email if you have any questions or requirements prior to booking. 

Please contact us before booking if you have any of the following: driving convictions, been in any accidents, current insurance claims or refusal, have endorsements, disabilities or medical conditions prior to booking.

Full payment is required at the time of booking your hire. This will secure the time and dates you want for your hire. 

A security deposit is required from the lead drivers priced at the following:

  • £1,000 for drivers aged 21-24 years
  • £750 for drivers aged 25-75 years
  • £1,000 for drivers aged 75-79 years

If you are going to attend festivals, concerts, sporting events this is £1500. This is taken using a BACs transfer. The deposit will be released back to you within 7 working days of the end of your rental period subject to terms and conditions. 

For Low-Season: November-February minimum 3-nights booking 

For Mid-Season: March-June & October minimum 5-night bookings.

For High-Season: July- September minimum 6-night bookings.

During High-season period all bookings are subject to specific days for hire due to increases in demand. The campervan can only be booked for rental periods of 6-night booking blocks. This is be collected on the first Saturday by 12:00 and returned on the final Friday by 16:00 of the rental period. Should you require to rent the campervan outside of the specific days, this needs to be requested before booking.

At times, we know plans need to change. If you need to alter or cancel your booking, please email or contact us by email or phone as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we have to charge for some alterations and cancellations and this will depend on how close it is to your booking. 

Alterations to your booking may be made from the confirmed date of your reservation until 42 days before your rental period, without charge. We will do our best accommodate alternative dates, however, this will be dependent on capacity to alternative dates required and may incur an extra payment should the rebooking fall within a different season charge rate. We would like you to rebook within the same calendar year, however, we will try to accommodate where we can.

If you do need to cancel with 41 days of your booking, we will need to make these charges: 

  • 30-40 days 35% of hire charge 
  • 15-29 days 50% of hire charge 
  • 3-14 days 80% of hire charge  
  • within 48 hrs no refunds are available.

As with other holiday companies we recommend that you purchase holiday insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances which could mean you are not to take your holiday.

Collecting your Campervan

Eternity Campers is based in the heart of Nottinghamshire a few miles away from Newark and a short drive away from some beautiful destinations.

Yes, we offer free on-site parking for the duration of your holiday.

On the day of collection your vehicle will be ready from 4.00pm. Please allow at least 1 hour for the handover of the vehicle. We want you to enjoy your holiday, time spent in familiarising with your leisure vehicle will help to ensure that you get the maximum benefit from your hire. 

If you do need to pick up the camper before this time, we will try to accommodate an earlier collection on a request basis. During busy periods early collection may not be available and we will not be able to confirm until a few days before your travel. It may be helpful to book your first night only a few hours away from the depot.

returning your campervan

As we take pride in our campervans, we hope you look after them too. We expect the camper to be returned as it was at the start of you hire. 

Before returning the camper to us please can you make sure the interior is clean, the water tank is emptied, remove all rubbish, wash the dishes and ensure the hob, sink and fridge is clean. There will also need to be a full tank of diesel. 

We ask you to return and unload the campervan by 12:00 please. Any time before this is also ok but please let us know so we can be available.  Late returns can impact another customer’s holiday and we will need to charge a late return charge. 

We will try to accommodate a later return on a request basis. During busy periods a late return may not be available and we will not be able to confirm until a few days before your travel.

It may be helpful to book your last night only a few hours away from the depot.

Preparing for your holiday

Yes. The Campervan introduction will take about 30 minutes and we take you through all the main functions and controls.

We allow 150 miles per nights hire. Anything over the allocated mileage will be charged at £2 per mile. check our terms and conditions before booking.

Our Campers are for hire for the UK only, there are many beautiful places to visit with our amazing national parks and Hidden Gems. Why not take a road trip to Cornwall or Scotland. A popular trip is the NC500. 

Yes. When you collect the camper from us it will have a full tank of fuel. We ask that you refill the tank before returning the camper.

Yes, the campervan is supplied with a gas bottle as part of the rental and you are not required to refill the gas on return. However, you can purchase a like for like bottle of gas, should you run out whilst you are hiring the camper. We ask that the bottle be the same type and brand that has been supplied.

We recommend that you bring your own towels and bedding. However, we can supply these items at £50 per double set and £20 for towels.

No. Eternity Campervans are equipped with all you will require.

Yes. There is all the kitchen equipment you need to cook food and make hot drinks. We do ask you not to cook Bacon, fish or curry inside the camper as this causes odours that are impossible to eliminate. As we all love these foods, we have provided you with an outdoor gas cooker to enjoy these foods whilst keeping the freshness of the camper.

In the event of an accident please report this to the Police and Eternity Campers immediately. Gather as much information from the accident scene as possible including photographs, names, addresses, contact details and phone numbers. Please give us the details of witnesses and you will need your assistance with the claim until it has been closed by our insurers. Full details see terms and conditions.

If you incur any fines, penalties or charges such as car parking or bridge toll charges. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can deal with this promptly, to prevent any further charges and to pay them within the time limit stipulated.

If you do breakdown during your campervan hire, don’t worry there is a motor breakdown cover booklet in the camper. Please refer to the booklet for information. The breakdown cover includes 24 Hour national breakdown roadside rescue with recovery to our address (full details with the vehicle).

You may instruct any repair up to the value of and not exceeding £150. A refund will be given when provided with a receipt of the cost to be refunded. If the repairs are in excess of £150 please contact us so we can authorise this work.
